4. Parents: Edwin and Carolyn Davenport

6. Describe your childhood. Grew up in Filmore. Father owned a chicken farm.
7. What did you enjoy doing as a child? Anything that did not involve visiting a chicken coop.
8. What is your earliest memory? Eating flowers thinking I could turn into one myself.
9. How old were you when you went on your first date and where did you go? 16. Filmore Founder's Day Dance.
10. Married? Sam Hines, December 25, 1886
11. How did you meet your spouse? Sam and I met at church. He spilt a tray of communion cups filled with grape juice on my new white dress. Needless to say, it was a morning I'll never forget.
12. Children: Edwin Roy (1888-), Pamela Lisa (1890-), Kevin Mark (1891-)
13. Grandchildren: Gardenia Evelyn Hines, Edwin and Mary Kate Hines' daughter, born January 22, 1909. Mary Kate is due for another one in May.

15. Education: Filmore School. Bachelor of Arts in English, Ruiz University, Wallace, Idaho.
16. What brought you to Eagle Creek? Sam was a student under Rodney Baker. He filled in for him a few times. When Rodney died suddenly, Rodney's widow, Margaret, and the good folks at Eagle Creek Memorial Church encouraged us to come there.

18. Occupation: Preacher's wife, unofficial church secretary
19. What was your first job? Waitress, Tanglewood Resort, Wallace Idaho.
20. How much did you make? 25 cents an hour plus tips.
21. What did you like to do in your free time? Boy watching.

22. What are you doing now? Cleaning the attic at my house.
23. Do you admire a famous person? No. I feel sorry for them since they can't live a quiet life.

30. Tell me about a memorable moment in your life; a time you will never forget. I won the watermellon seed spitting contest at last year's Independence Day picnic.
31. What things do you find yourself doing that you said you'd never do? Procrastinating.
32. What are the goals you are still working toward? I want to read all of the novels of Emily Brontė.
33. When people look back at your life, how do you want to be remembered? A kind and meek woman, a loving wife.
34. What is your favorite outdoor activity? Building snowmen.
35. Do you attend church or religious services? Eagle Creek Memorial Church. It's kind of a requirement around our house.
36. What is your favorite Bible verse? Ruth Chapter One.
37. What makes you happy? Seeing people get along after they have been split because of a difference.
38. What makes you sad? No matter how hard I try to fight it, middle age will catch up with me someday.
39. What frightens you? Growing doughy.
40. What is there about you that would surprise people if they found out?
