6. Describe your childhood. Father was an architect. Mother was a homemaker.
7. What did you enjoy doing as a child? Going to the library.
8. What is your earliest memory? Not sure.
9. How old were you when you went on your first date and where did you go? 16. Janet and I ate lunch after Sunday preaching.
10. Married? Cynthia Janet Howard Hall, June 28, 1879.
11. How did you meet your spouse? At school in 5th grade.
12. Children: Roma Brave (1883-), Lawrence Horatio (1885-), Darlene Karen (1887-) Evelyn Carrie (1889-), Donalela Christine (1890), Michele Marie (1891-)

16. What brought you to Eagle Creek? Momma's belly.

18. Occupation: co-owner Eagle Creek Lumber Mill
19. What was your first job? Picking strawberries on Grandpa Hank's farm.
20. How much did you make? 15 cents a bushel.
21. What did you like to do in your free time? Visit friends and shut-ins.
22. What are you doing now? Fixing a wagon wheel.
23. Do you admire a famous person? No. I feel sorry for them since they can't live a quiet life.

29. Name of the last book you read? The Still Gray Sky by Thom Yorke
30. Tell me about a memorable moment in your life; a time you will never forget. Once I was feeling depressed about a money situation at the mill. I decided to go for a long walk in the mountains to clear my head. While I was there I complained to God about the situation. As soon as I said, "Amen" there was an earthquake. I stepped aside just in time to avoid being hit by a fractured boulder. I learned my lesson. When I returned the issue had resolved itself.
31. What things do you find yourself doing that you said you'd never do? Disappoint myself.
32. What are the goals you are still working toward? I want to meet everyone in town.
33. When people look back at your life, how do you want to be remembered? As agreeable and fair.
34. What is your favorite outdoor activity? Looking for agate stones in Eagle Creek.
35. Do you attend church or religious services? Eagle Creek Memorial Church

37. What makes you happy? An abundance of love.

39. What frightens you? Hopeless people, they tend to attract others like flies.
