1. Name: Sarah Marie Conrad

2. Date of Birth: April 16, 1894

3. Place of Birth: Eagle Creek, Montana

4. Parents: Michael and Paula Conrad

5. Siblings: Martin Philemon (1888-), Robert Michael (1890-)

6. Describe your childhood. I grew up in Eagle Creek. My father is president of the Eagle Creek Branch of Montana Chemical Bank. I like it here, for the most part.

7. What did you enjoy doing as a child? Playing dress up.

8. What is your earliest memory? Being swung like a jump rope by Martin and Robert.

9. How old were you when you went on your first date and where did you go? I have not yet been on an official date, although I have spent time on a social basis with Pete Jackson and Tommy Grossman.

10. Married? Someday.

11. How did you meet your spouse?

12. Children: Not a wise move concerning my marital status.

13. Grandchildren: None, but I did become an aunt earlier this year when my brother Martin adopted two boys whose parents died in a fire.

14. Pets? Sarafina the cat. Sarafina and Bell (Emily's cat) are sisters, even though Sarafina is a Calico and Bell is a Siamese. I think Bell's mother adopted Sarafina from another litter, or vice-versa.

15. Education: Currently a Junior at Eagle Creek High School. This time next year I will be preparing my Valedictorian speech.

16. What brought you to Eagle Creek? The stork (wink-wink).

17. Current friends: Emily Clementine, Amanda Taylor (I miss her), Tommy Grossman, Pete Jackson, Kevin Hines

18. Occupation: Student, I have several chores around the house.

19. What was your first job? Make-up model for Lucille's Fashions in Eagle Creek when Emily and I were both seven.

20. How much did you make? A nickel, which I promptly used to buy a custard filled donut.

21. What did you like to do in your free time? Writing poems, reading books, listening to music on my phonograph.

22. What are you doing now? Studying for the Spelling Bee in Plentywood which I must win.

23. Do you admire a famous person? Thomas Edison.

24. What makes them admirable? His never ending quest to advance technology.

25. What is your favorite food? Strawberry milkshake. I wish we had an ice cream shop in Eagle Creek. The nearest one is Tate’s Soda Shop in River City.

26. What is your favorite color? Pink

27. What is your favorite song? The Ideal of My Dreams by Herbert Ingraham

28. Hobbies: Using my imagination, trying to keep Emily Clementine out of trouble.

29. Name of the last book you read? The First Men in the Moon by Herbert George Wells

30. Tell me about a memorable moment in your life; a time you will never forget. When I was thirteen, Crystal Hines, the preacher's wife, took Emily, Diane Grossman, Amanda Taylor and some other girls up to Darling Knob for a "girls only" picnic. We ate a good lunch and then we talked about our dreams. We prayed for everyone we could imagine and then listened to Crystal's conversion story. It was the most wonderful experience of my life.

31. What things do you find yourself doing that you said you'd never do? Sass my mother.

32. What are the goals you are still working toward? I want to win the Spelling Bee in Plentywood.

33. When people look back at your life, how do you want to be remembered? Astute, Encouraging and a good role model for younger girls like Kimberly Buchanan or Margaret Costello.

34. What is your favorite outdoor activity? Swimming at the Eagle Creek swimming hole.

35. Do you attend church or religious services? Eagle Creek Memorial Church

36. What is your favorite Bible verse? I Corinthians 13

37. What makes you happy? Being recognized for an achievement.

38. What makes you sad? The thought of not finding true love.

39. What frightens you? Disappointing my parents.

40. What is there about you that would surprise people if they found out? Some of Emily's pranks were originally my ideas.
