1. Name: Benjamin Michael Baldwin

2. Date of Birth: January 2, 1894

"That's my birthday too! We have so much in common!"

3. Place of Birth: Birdseye, Montana

4. Parents: Creed and Meredith Baldwin

5. Siblings: None

6. Describe your childhood. Dad runs a yarn dealership. He supplies yarn for all of the mills in Helena and, eventually, the western half of the state.

7. What did you enjoy doing as a child? Playing my lyre.

8. What is your earliest memory? Being thrown off a horse.

9. How old were you when you went on your first date and where did you go? 14. Took what's her name… somewhere.

"KAREN! My name is Karen! We've dated since eighth grade! Our first date was at that Halloween Party at your cousin's house!"

10. Pets? Mickey, a German Shepherd.

"That is such a coincidence! My pet... Bell, is a German Shepherd, Persian Cat mix."

"Jan, I swear I'm about to scratch her eyes out!"

11. Education: Senior, St. Albans High School. I don't have any solid plans after graduation.

12. Current friends: Karen Aldridge, Jan Johnson, Robert Warner, Jeff Mifflin… hey, aren't you two dating?

"There are many vague words in the English language, 'dating' is one of them. 'Daring' is another word difficult to define. I thought of that today as I was wearing my two-piece bathing suit."

"What?"

"I wa-wa-wa-wore one too. It's na-na-na-no big deal."

13. Occupation: Student at St. Albans. During the summer, I drive a delivery truck.

14. What was your first job? Loading wagons on my Uncle Ted's hops farm.

15. How much did you make? Not enough to runaway back to Helena.

"Oh Benjamin you are soooooo funny."

"Jan, did you teach Emily to do the hair flip?"

16. What do you like to do in your free time? Spend time with Kar....

"It had roses."

What had roses?

"My two-piece bathing suit. It had an exquisite floral design right about...."

"Em, em, em, Emily! Wa, wa, wa, wa, what's the next question?"

"Ouch! My next question is, 'Why did Karen just step on my foot?'"

"I, I, I, I, I gotta go to the ladies' room. Come on, Karen."

17. What are you doing now? Rubbing my aching hands.

"You poor man, let me help you."

18. Do you admire a famous person? French composer Camille Saint-Saens

19. What makes them admirable? His immense talent.

20. What is your favorite food? Chocolate.

"Me too! Gee, that's weird, I didn't lie that time."

21. What is your favorite color? Purple... which is your favorite color too?

22. What is your favorite song? Danse Macabre by Camille Saint-Saëns

23. Hobbies: I like playing Squash. Me and my roommate Winston organized a club.

24. Name of the last book you read? A Thousand and One Yuck-Yucks by Mike Dayton, he is a very funny writer.

25. Tell me about a memorable moment in your life; a time you will never forget. The first time I shaved. I was 14. I borrowed my dad's razor and ended up cutting my face several times.

26. What things do you find yourself doing that you said you'd never do? Listening to modern music. Karen introduced me to it. My favorite tune is Maple Leaf Rag by Scott Joplin

27. What are the goals you are still working toward? I want to run my own brewery.

28. When people look back at your life, how do you want to be remembered? A competent viola player.

29. What is your favorite outdoor activity? Shooting targets with a bow and arrow.

30. Do you attend church or religious services? Never saw a need for it. I do play sometimes in churches but I'm there for the pay not to pray.

31. What is your favorite Bible verse? Thou shalt reimburse thy viola player if he drives all the way to Butte in the rain on Sunday morning while nursing a hangover.

"That's mine too! Now that Karen and Jan have stepped out to go the ladies' room, let me help you undo that tuxedo collar. I'll just put my hands around the back of your neck and...!"

32. What makes you happy? Expertly interpreting a musical piece for an eager audience.

33. What makes you sad? Limitations and obligations.

34. What frightens you? Boo!

"Ah! You scared me! I feel as though I'm going to faint. Per chance, might you catch me?"

35. What is there about you that would surprise people if they found out? Just now, when Karen and Jan were in the bathroom, I kissed Emily.

"And she greatly enjoyed it."
