6. Describe your childhood.
My father was a carpenter in Columbia Falls. He helped build most of the houses in town.
7. What did you enjoy doing as a child?
Playing Spades with my sisters.
8. What is your earliest memory?
Being dropped by the preacher at church. My mother had just handed me to Minister Finley and for whatever reason, I squirmed out of his hands and fell. I hit the bench so I wasn't seriously injured. I know it's odd to have such a vivid memory at that age but it's the truth.
9. How old were you when you went on your first date and where did you go? 18. Harriett and I went to a recital.
10. Pets? Precious, a tamed Bobcat

14. What was your first job?
River Guide for my friend Chuck's rafting company. I still do it when I get home during the summer.
15. How much did you make?
$1 a trip.
16. What do you like to do in your free time?
Find someone, anyone and try to talk to them about Jesus.
17. What are you doing now? Rubbing my aching hands.
Picking up my laundry from the cleaners. I baptized Mr. Wang and his family last year. They thanked me by dry cleaning my clothes.

David Lipscomb
19. What makes them admirable?
His commitment to New Testament Christianity.
20. What is your favorite food?
Stewed Cabbage

I like to read classical American literature.
24. Name of the last book you read?
The Life and Sermons of Jesse L. Sewell by David Lipscomb.
25. Tell me about a memorable moment in your life; a time you will never forget. When I was 15, me and some friends were hunting elk in Badrock Canyon. Suddenly, there was an earthquake. Part of a cliff collapsed and I missed being crushed by a very large boulder by a few inches.
26. What things do you find yourself doing that you said you'd never do?
Acting in a play. I never considered it to be a valuable pursuit but Harriett has aptly demonstrated how I might use dramatic skills so I've been an extra in a few campus productions.
27. What are the goals you are still working toward?
I want to baptize 100 people by the time I finish college. As of last Thursday, I've dunked 74.
28. When people look back at your life, how do you want to be remembered?
As a follower of Christ.
29. What is your favorite outdoor activity?
Rafting on the Flathead River.
30. Do you attend church or religious services?
Ewing Street Church of Christ. I preach there once a month and I try to preach at some of the other churches in the surrounding area. I also preach at chapel a few times a year.
31. What is your favorite Bible verse?
Ephesians 5:14-16 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
32. What makes you happy?
Seeing people face their problems with cunning and boldness.
33. What makes you sad?
Spending time with people who refuse to see the truth.
34. What frightens you?
The possibility of being misunderstood.
35. What is there about you that would surprise people if they found out?
According to my roommate Buzz, I snore like a freight train.
