1. Name: Kimberly Marta Buchanan

2. Date of Birth: February 20, 1897

3. Place of Birth: Eagle Creek, Montana

4. Parents: Tom and Prudence Buchanan

5. Siblings: Wednesday Theta (1895-), Connor Smithson (1899-), Matthew Douglas (1903-), ? (My mom is going to have a baby very soon)

6. Describe your childhood. I grew up on a ranch. I still live there. My father has about 1,000 heads of cattle.

I loved growing up in Eagle Creek. Everyone is so nice here.


7. What did you enjoy doing as a child? Margaret and I used to pretend we were spies. We made a hide-out from fallen trees. We still go there sometimes for privacy.

8. What is your earliest memory? Sticking my face in a chocolate pie when I was a baby. My parents still laugh about that day.

9. How old were you when you went on your first date and where did you go? I've never been on a date. Brian Anderson and I danced several times at the Christmas Ball. We sat at a small table together and drank punch. Does that count as a date?

10. Married? No. But, I'd like to be married some day. I suppose I have to get a boyfriend first.

11. Pets? I have two chinchillas, Sweetie and Rubber.

12. Education: I am going into the 8th grade at Eagle Creek School.

13. Current friends: Margaret Costello, Ginger McFerson, Jan Smithers

14. Occupation: Student.

15. What was your first job? I've never had a paying job. I help out at the ranch but I don't get paid.

18. What are you doing now? Trying on a necklace at Lucille's

20. Do you admire a famous person? Mrs. Hines, the preacher's wife

21. What makes them admirable? She took Margaret, Ginger and some of the other younger girls on a picnic last June. We let our hair down and talked along time.

22. What is your favorite food? Chocolate

23. What is your favorite color? Mauve

24. What is your favorite song? I'm Awfully Strong for You by Billy Murray

25. Hobbies: I like to write poetry.

26. Name of the last book you read? Ann Veronica by H.G. Wells, it really made me think about the role of women in society.

27. Tell me about a memorable moment in your life; a time you will never forget. I met a cute boy recently. He's older than me. He's tall, handsome, brave, he has the most striking blue eyes.

Tommy Grossman? No. I'm talking about Lynn's cousin, the one who moved here this sumer.

28. What things do you find yourself doing that you said you'd never do? Being nervous around guys. I grew up with Brian Anderson and Jansen Larkin, but, talking to them has changed in recent years.

29. What are the goals you are still working toward? I want to go to Great Falls University to study medicine.

30. When people look back at your life, how do you want to be remembered? As a kind and loving person.

31. What is your favorite outdoor activity? Wagon trips to River City.

32. Do you attend church or religious services? I attend Eagle Creek Memorial. I was baptized two months ago.

33. What is your favorite Bible verse? 1 John 1:9

34. What makes you happy? Being with my friends.

35. What makes you sad? Seeing people without enough money or food.

36. What frightens you? Being alone

37. What is there about you that would surprise people if they found out? Sometimes, when Margaret Costello and I are in River City we talk in a foreign accent. It's a silly game we like to play to see how gullible people can be.
